I chanced across a very nice and clean Eico HF81 so I picked it up and am willing to pass it along to someone who will appreciate it. I'm not really into vintage tube amps but though this experience I now understand the mystique and why people love them. Very nice sound and much more power then one would assume.This Eico is super clean original and one owner. According to the owner it has sat since the early 1970s on a bookshelf and I believe him since it looks to me to be 100% original and everything works. One minor issue is the level adjust knob crackles and pops when moved but once you find a good spot for it then it sounds great. I'm not sure if contact cleaner will work but outside of that the amp works great. I will ship if needed but would highly prefer local pickup. I will drive out up to 100 miles in your direction if paid the full asking price to meet up with you for delivery. I have attached pictures for you to look at from when I gave it a cleaning and now it really looks like its practically new. Asking $700.00 or best offer.
