Was running an MP-200 (still using on a different table) on my Technics SL1700 MkII. Liked it so much, I bought a new MP-500H with removable headshell to install after some planned upgrades, such as Cardas tonearm wiring, KAB damper, etc. The MP-500H was aligned to the Technics S-arm and tested (with add-on counterweight) for 20 minutes/one LP side to ensure proper output, channel separation, and overall sound before it went back into storage. However, plans changed before I got around to the mods, and the Technics is now gone. Get a basically new cart for hundreds less than retail.
