I had this MC-10 re-tipped by van den Hul six years ago. It is one of four cartridges that I rotate in my main system (I have two systems) along with a Denon, Ortofon, and Lyra. I estimate that it has upwards of 800-900 hours on it so, although van den Hul claims that his stylus will last for over 2,000 hours, I think this one would benefit from a re-tip in the near future. I rate the condition as 6 only due to age. It plays well and I love the balanced sound it produces-- neither overly lean nor bloomy.
