The conductors in this cable are pure 10 gauge silver Teflon coated and immersed in liquid ceramic. This is an upscale improvement over the standard Audience power cord originally provided with the unit. I am the second owner of these two pieces. They were bought from the original owner who was an audiophile neighbor (non-smoking) downsizing his system. This aR12 unit is exceptionally clean and very well maintained in a smoke and child free dedicated room used only by me. it never required service of any kind. There are no marks, scratches or nicks on any of the five visible surfaces. The underside of the chassis has two scratches: One a faint, barely visible 1 1/2 inches in length while the other is slightly more pronounced at 1/2 inch. The power cord condition is easily a '9." The unit provides exceptional filtering with the bonus of secure non-sacrificial surge protection. It performs flawlessly and quietly. My reason for selling is retirement downsizing. Since I have only two components remaining to plug into it this conditioner is much too large and versatile for my needs.
