The output is a regulated 120V AC at 60Hz. The Premier's maximum output is 1500W. There is sophisticated spike and surge protection. (Some other protective devices typically include protection against brief high-voltage spikes, but don't protect against more moderate surges that last longer and are potentially more damaging.)
