Second owner - there are typical signs of wear but nothing major or unexpected for a 5-year old cable. Reference the many positive comments here on AA about this power cord and you'll see why this particular model in the now defunct VD brand was the sweet spot. I would characterize it as extremely dynamic with a huge soundstage, and tonally on the warm side of neutral but not lacking in frequency extremes.
