Hello,Offered here is a nice Hornshoppe The Truth "preamplifier"/ line stage. It has four inputs and one output. It's not technically passive, but sounds like it. Perhaps even better. Controls your volume with light. There is a lot of info and positive reviews online. Here's what Arthur Salvatore had to say: "The Truth" changes the paradigm in Reference Line Stages, literally. Its existence has even forced me to remove a "Direct Connection" in "Class A", because such a choice no longer makes any rational sense to me. In the end, "The Truth" is effectively a "direct connection" with no sonic downsides, and with the ability to drive any amplifier load and/or length of cable, while allowing any source to be heard at its very best. With the exception of extra gain, an audiophile can't ask for more than that. I realize that this may all sound "too good to be true", but it isn't.

It really is an amazing device, and the reviews are spot-on. If you want to really know what your front end sounds like, while having control over source selection and volume, this will do it. A couple things to note are that your sources need to have decent gain, because The Truth does not provide any. Also, most of your control of volume is above the "10 O'clock" region. A little strange at first, but you get used to it- they're all that way from what I read. Included is The Truth linestage, a generic power cord, and four plugs for isolating any unused inputs.
