This was used with a Dynaco ST-70 and a conrad-johnson sonographe 250 and fit nicely with both amps. It merely sat on the rack or sat on a shelf in a non-smoking environment with no transports out of house on road trips etc.
I chose the zfoil resistor since I've had direct experience with it and it seems the most transparent resistor I have ever heard. [or not heard, as the case may be] Output resistance is @ 10k, ideal for tube amps.
I added nuts to the front to indicate 1,2,3 inputs for the selector switch as there was no indicator on the face. The nuts can be removed with acetone. I can remove them for you, if you wish, before shipping.
I am rating as 8 because of the nuts and a small blemish on the right side. [which can't be seen from the front]
Give this enough source signal and it is sweet like a good SUT is sweet.
Selling because I have a NOS DAC that just doesn't put out enough signal for practical use with a passive preamp.
