I have for sale a wonderful Placette Audio passive preamp - 3 input / 2 output. Dead silent, black background, completely linear in terms of volume tracking. If you've never tried a top notch passive for your solid state or tube amp, this is a low risk option given the hundreds of customers who have ditched their big bucks preamps for this unit. Transparency is the word. Any veil or obscuring of the vocals is lifted and you hear the music.Operationally works great - includes the Sony programmable remote that is standard with this unit and the power supply. Cosmetically there are some scratches not visible from more than a foot or so away. The power supply plus is a bit flaky as the casing is not really held together well, but it works just fine.
