Audio Research LS5MKIII with Kevin Deal 6H23 type 3 cryoed tubes (about 500 hours on them) plus another pair unused same tubes plus another set of tubes with about 1000+ hours remaining on them. This is a very special unit fully modded by first Audio Research then GNSC (the former Great Northern Sound Company). Original owner. No smoking, kids... this is a wonderful pre - all balanced ins and outs. Sounds dynamic, wide and wide open.I paid 5495 for the unit then paid for the serious upgrade on top which is why I estimate 7500. In Austin area - you are invited to hear it if you act fast. I do have original boxes and can ship at your expense. Not a mark on it. Feet replaced by BDR carbon cones (included). Plus 3% for paypal.
