2010 Quicksilver Audio Line Preamplifier**Price reduced and CONUS ship incl** For sale is my Quicksilver Line Preamp This unit was serviced, bench tested and had high voltage capacitors replaced 2 years ago by Quicksilver in CA. This model was manufactured in 2010 when it was redesigned. Very clean and I gave it an 8 rating and not 9 because of the age. Also has the mono/stereo option unlike the new version. Includes power cord but not manual or original box. Below is a write up. Completely redesigned for 2010, the new Quicksilver Linestage Preamp features wider bandwidth, increased dynamic range and lower noise. More power supply capacitance, a newly designed audio choke, and silver wire combine to provide a clearer more powerful presentation within a wider and deeper sound stage. The simplicity and solid construction of the original Linestage have been retained. Since 1981 Mike Sanders has been producing well made, dependable and great sounding tube electronics. The Quicksilver Line Stage Preamp embodies the Quicksilver philosophy of simplicity. It uses only one 12AX7 per channel, resulting in a very direct sound. A precision Alps attenuator, with 41 detents, is used for the volume control. The gold-plated Teflon insert RCA jacks are chassis mounted for long life.
