1 of many Golden Age of Stereo/Audiophile Classical Records I have listed.

Summer Festival: 20 of the World's Greatest Artists, 19 Selections of Music America Loves Best, Various - Fiedler, Solti, Stokowski, Leinsdorf, Shaw, 1962, RCA LSC-6097, VG+/VG+, 2 LP Set; 2S/2S 2S/2S Stampers

Gatefold cover has light to moderate edge and ring wear, discontinued is stamped across the inside of the gatefold cover; vinyl has several slight scuffs and hair line scratches visible only at an angle in sunlight; labels are excellent with some remnants of a fingerprint on one label.

This is a wonderful collection of highlights from the RCA Living Stereo Catalog. According to Jonathan Valin,

these two records contain excerpts from some of the better RCA's of the Golden Age. Naturally the sonics are first-class. My only complaint is that there is a kind of overall bleaching out of orchestral color and hall ambiance (reminiscent of some White Dogs I can think of) on certain cuts. It is not a major flaw and wouldn't really be a flaw at all if you didn't compare the sound to the Shaded Dog originals. RCA Bible, p. 92.
