To all you Synergistic Research (Active) cable owners. How would you like to transform your stock SR MPC to perform better than a Galileo for less than 1/8 the price? That's right! I can modify your stock MPC, and I guarantee my modified V2 MPC will blow away the sonics of a stock MPC, and will be even better than a $400.00 Galileo or your money back! In my latest version I replace the entire circuit board which contains the cheap 1 amp DO-41 stock rectifier diodes, and equally as cheap Chinese brand 470uf electrolytic cap with hardwired ultra fast SMD or TO-220 ultra fast soft recovery rectifier diodes, along with an extremely low impedance longer lasting 1200uf electrolytic. That's almost 3 times more capacitance, and the higher capacitance equates to even lower impedance. I bypass with a .1uf or .01uf metalized polypropylene film cap when applicable for even lower impedance at higher frequencies. What I have created is a super low impedance, ultra low noise power supply for the active shielding circuit on SR active cables. You will hear a tremendous increase in high frequency mid-range air and transparency, increased resolution and inner detail, 3D increase of depth and width of soundstage, low end base weight and control, and the blackest background you could ever imagine! It is my modified V2 MPC, and its ultra low noise floor, that allows this to occur. All I need is your stock SR MPC and $60.00. $55.00ea. for 2-3 then &50.00ea. for more than three.
