-carrying suit case HERE IS MY PROFESSIONAL REVIEW I have retailed in Monster Cable for many years now and have used virtually all their products. Here are my thoughts on the Z3 series. First, it is important to rank monster cable since there are many versions. 1-8 from introductory to the best. 1. Basic speaker cable comes in 16-14-12-10 gauge with the pink jacket
2. White jacket basic cable for in wall use
3. Grey jacket basic M-series
4. Z1 series
5. M-series (any M-series)
6. Z2
7. Z3
8. Z4 Since you are looking at this I assume you are looking for a very good speaker cable and not the basic Monster stuff. Cables 1-3 are basic.
-Z1 series is decent, but it really is just a glorified version of the 10 gauge regular cable.
-M-series replaced some of the Z series reference cable and is not as good as the Z series
-Z2 in my opinion is the best ‘bang-for-your-buck’ It is significantly better than Z1
-Z3 series if you can afford the upgrade from Z2 is very very good. If you know what to listen for in a good cable THIS IS THE ONE TO GET !@!
-Z4 just looks really cool with the big termination, and it is really no better than Z3. Overall, I have used all of these cables, and I think the best for the is the Z3. It is significantly better sounding than Z1 and M-Series. Hope that helps! You will really enjoy the Z3 series as it provides a great sound upgrade!
