I posted on Audiogon but the site is not what it used to be. I will trade for something more "menageable" and easier to sell. I can ship but it will be costly . Somebody asked if I could send by Greyhound so maybe it's a possibility. Here is my A-gon "blurb" :)Up for sale is an example of legendary Altec Studio Monitor -Model 15 ;smaller brother of Altec Model 19 with 12" woofer ,Western Electric 32B bent radial horn and best altec small format driver -alnico 802 with tangerine phase plug . Walnut cabinets were refreshed with waxes and small repairs and to my eye look quite gorgeous (there is nothing like good old ,natural veneers). 12" woofers were rebuilt with Altec /GPA kits and are like new. Diaphragms on compression driver are original, one with conductor logo , the other plain altec diaphragm. There are no grills, which desintegrated over the years. Instead, the woofer covers were used, which to me looks equally good. The old velcro grill clipses will be provided. I'm the second owner and have a purchase receipt and literature, if that means anything to you. The speaker is totaly stock with no modifications. I could offer some small noninvasive improvements to a new owner ; upgrading crossover elements and damping of HF horn and woofers basket just for the cost of material and parts. Because of size and weight of speakers for now, I only offer a pick up or I could drive 100 mile radius around Chicago to meet interested party just for gas price. Also, I'll be driving to Detroit around April 20 so could take them along the way. Thank You! PS . I marked condition as 6/10 just to indicate it's a vintage speaker with certain vintage patina not because it looks "fair"
