Up for sale is a pair of vintage Bose 601 Series I speakers.As you can see from the pictures, these speakers are in excellent condition. They went through a minor restoration, which included hand sanding the cabinets down to bare wood, re-staining, and multiple coats of hand rubbed oil. New surrounds on all of the woofers as well. The result is that they look and sound beautiful. The older 601s are arguably some best speakers that Bose ever produced. Even as a sometime Bose basher myself, I must say they sound very, very good. The only thing holding these back from a 9/10 is a small blemish on the back corner of one of the cabinets that was unrepairable, see picture.
