The only difference are the shoulder and base facets that I was told are decorative accents. Black ash veneer wih black lacquer horns. No operation issues. Very good to excellent condition, actually they are exactly as received from the distributor 11.5 years ago. No scratches, no marks, etc. Kept in a non-smoking, pet free environment. There are many positive reviews available, 6moons, ETM, etc. My opinions dated Aug 2003 can be found here on the Asylum. The tweeter/mid-range has since been changed on this model and their website no longer lists the specs for the non-diamante. The following are the specifications from my reference: Woofer - 22cm carbon fiber cone with die cast chassis and textile suspension; 38mm voicecoil; 140mm ferrite magnet; 3.1kg weight. Tweeter/mid-range - 38mm carbon fiber cone; 38mm voicecoil with nomex former; 132mm magnet; 2.6 kg weight. Struted and interlocking cabinet structure. Phase linear crossover. 40Hz - 20,000Hz. 6 ohms impedance. 150 watts power handling. 35kg each. Overall dimensions in mm: 280 x 280 x 1040. Included in this purchase are my custom sized isolation/platforms. This setup was used to spike through carpet to concrete foundation, raise the speaker a few inches and float the speakers in an isolation scheme. The speakers sit directly on top of Symposium Svelte speaker set, 14in x 14in custom, which lays flat on top of platforms made from John Boos hard rock maple cutting boards cut to size, painted in black lacquer, with threaded inserts to accept North Creek Big Toe spikes. The original feet will be supplied. The shipping carton is made of plywood and holds the speaker pair with a total shipping weight approx. 165 lbs. Pick-up is preferred, but if shipping is required, the buyer is responsible for arrangements and expenses. The base structure will be boxed separately. Thank you for looking!
