I had intended to use these lovely speakers as the centerpiece of a second system but, unfortunately, that is not practical for me at this time.In the words of the previous owner: “The upgrades consisted of replacing woofers, passives, crossovers, cabinet bracing. The tweeter and midrange weren't touched - Vasken (Shahinian) claimed they were his favorite. If you look at newer photos of arcs they have a different tweeter, a titanium one. The older tweets went out of production, so they had to make the change. “ In addition, the fuses have apparently been by-passed. Cosmetically, the speakers appear to be virtually new, but I’m rating them an overall 8 to be conservative, primarily due to their age. There is a tiny amount of anti-vibration material residue underneath the speakers, which was applied by the previous owner, along with the Maringo dots. I was able to carefully remove most of this residue. The Maringo dots can be easily removed if you so choose.Speakers are securely packed in their original boxes and require banana plugs. I will include a high-quality set of these plugs at no additional cost. While I do not a track record here, I'm happy to send you a link to my eBay profile.
