I have a pair of Eminent Technology LFT VI panel speakers for sale. With Bruce's help (Owner Designer) I rebuilt the crossovers using top shelf parts about 3 years ago. This resurrected the speakers to a point of excellence. I still have all of the documentation if anyone wants it. Long story but I used these in place of my Apogee Divas for the last few years. Looks like my Apogees are on their way home relatively soon from an extended stay with Rich Murry at True SoundWorks.The LFT VI is a 3 way quasi full range planar magnetic panel very similar but better than older Magnepans. They can sound glorious but you will need one or two nice subs to fill in the lower end. All drivers are working perfectly. The tweeters (all 4 panels) were replaced before I purchased the speakers. INFO: 1) They are in good shape physically, but they are plain looking speakers to begin with. Think taller thinner all black Magnepans). I have the front grills but no rear grills. 2) They are relatively inefficient so they need amp/s with a lot of horsepower (happy into low impedance loads) to drive them properly.
3) They need a good fast subwoofer or two. Supply the above and you will have a speaker that can rival really expensive speakers....I think they sound better than my Soundlab U1 PX electrostats. Not kidding. Very rare to ever see these for sale anymore, but I hope they do go to someone that will appreciate them. I really hope they will go to someone that can pick them up in The Dallas Tx area. I hate the idea of shipping but it can be done with a service like Roadie (no common carriers for something like this). Buyer assumes all the risk after they leave my doorstep.
