Here's an interesting, high-quality tube to try to see how it fits with your own ears in your own gear. I'm a big fan of RFT-made 12AU7As/ECC82s. I was introduced to the RFT 12AU7A/ECC82 through my Conrad Johnson PV-12A preamplifier, where Conrad Johnson fitted it as the original equipment 12AU7A/ECC82 in both the line and phono stages. In this preamp, to my ears along with the rest of my gear, I've found this tube to offer clarity, dynamics, and extension. It's more "neutral" in character. Sonically, I find it similar to the Amperex 7316. RFTs also tend to show remarkably and consistently very close-testing section gm as measured by my testers, and long life. Asking $25 each, OBO.
