This EMT 948 is from a private collection. It works perfectly and is in very good condition. The only flaw is a missing plastic button cover which you will see in the supplied pictures. It includes the EMT 929 tonearm.The EMT 948 Turntable was the standard for broadcasting. Just about every radio station in Europe used these since they were built like tanks and made to play for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They were designs to drop in studio consoles and have a very effective suspension. You could just about stand on the platter and it will still spin at proper speed.
