Empire 208 turntable, with Jelco 370 tonearm - This table is far superior to a stock 398 type. I've had 3 stock 398's, and while the arm was a fine arm for the cartridges that were made some 50 + years ago,they are simply not very good for today's CAD designs with high energy magnets, ultra stiff cantilevers, and Shibata, or elliptical stylus.
The arm that is on here was carefully selected for optimum mass, optimum length and for it's superior viscous damping that enables it to be used with nearly any cartridge with great results. The arm was NOS, not used.
As you can see, the gold finish(original btw)is in great shape, and pains were taken to cosmetically match the arm with the table as well. Beautiful to look at, and a joy to use!
