NOTE: Tonearm, armboard and record weight are NOT included. This Micro Seiki DDX-1000 is in excellent physical condition. The bulb on the strobe has burned out and needs to be replaced. Speed accuracy was checked by playing several demanding piano recordings with sustained notes. To my ears the pitch is spot on and the speed rock steady. Note that the original feet have been replaced with Monster Cable "Footers", which fit perfectly and provide excellent isolation. One of the strobe marks has been cleaned/polished and looks different from the others when the platter is rotating. Note: It was suggested by a fellow inmate that I print out a strobe to check the speed ...which I did and have now visually confirmed that the speed is spot on and holds steady. History of this table: This DDX-1000 was traded in at a local hi-fi shop by the original owner in 1988 and I bought it. I sold it locally in 1992 and bought it back last month. This table has resided in a cabinet behind closed doors for 23 years and has not been used for the last 15+ years. I used it for a week to assure proper operation. The tonearm, armboard and record weight have been sold and are not included. $795 + shipping. Will trade for high-end fly fishing reels, preferably antique. Please see my feedback on eBay and Audiogon. User name: reelsmith Thanks for looking. Dean.
