REGA RESEARCH PLANAR 3 TURNTABLE - USED - $325!We have a great used classic here. This Rega Planar 3 is a great starter turntable and/or makes a great base for upgrading with all the various mods and tweaks that are out there for it. This was originally a UK bought (50Hz) Planar 3, which we upgraded for the (ORIGINAL) owner with a P3 motor upgrade kit (to allow proper operation on USA 120V/60Hz power and better sound) about 8 years ago (note this is not the current 24V motor drive system, but the previous rigid 120V/60Hz motor mount system found on P3-2000 tables before Rega introduced the 24V motor drive system.). We just have gone through the table and fully tested it. The motor drive system and arm are all working great (we put a new Rega belt as the original was slipping a bit). Cosmetic wise, the plinth and arm in really good shape for their approx 20 years of age (see pictures), but the dust cover does have several good scratches (hard to see in pics - but are visible if you look closely), but no cracks. Has no factory packaging, but we can carefully and safely pack to ship. NO CARTRIDGE, BUT We can also package the table with any number of great cartridges from Rega, Clearaudio, Dynavector or Grado (just ask us for a quote on the combo you would like) if you want a complete turnkey
