Economic encroachments force sale of my beloved, indistinguishable-from-new Rega RP3 turntable. Titanium plinth, RB303 tonearm, glass platter, 24v motor assembly, power supply, felt mat, white belt upgrade, counterweight, original black belt, original box, paperwork, warranty card and insured ground shipping to any Lower 48 street address (no PO boxes) included at asking price. Discount given to Los Angeles-area buyers who can pick it up. Unit has probably logged a maximum of 50 hours of actual use. Pix are obviously stock; I intend to post some actual images soon, but this example is as flawless as the models shown (no cartridge included, however) with perhaps only some typical dustcover swirling to indicate its use. I am very confident about a 9/10 rating, and I am conservative about such things. If interested, I can offer a Groovetracer "Reference" subplatter assembly ($250 retail and currently installed on the 'table) for an additional $135. That upgrade alone yields substantial sonic benefits and vaults the RP3 into RP6+ territory. Otherwise the RP3 will ship with its original plastic subplatter assembly reinstalled. I have owned many 'tables, belt and direct drive, and the RP3 is the standout winner in terms of performance-for-price. I seriously doubt anything in the sub-$750 bracket can hold a candle to it for sheer 'musicality' and emotional engagement. Happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
