For sale is a nice, but heavy, turntable package I have been using. Refurbished Technics SP-10 mkII turntable. The power supply has been checked over and recapped by a gentleman who has done many of these. The table has been repainted in a dark gray metallic, but I would not call it a truly professional repaint. Some chips were painted over and not levelled first, and there are also three chips in the new paint, some shown in the photos. The strobe light has been replaced with leds so no future burn-out, the platter brake is redone and functions perfectly. Table holds all 3 speeds perfectly. The power supply is not repainted, so it shows expected wear, scratches and dings. No manual for the turntable is included. The plinth is a lead shot mass loaded baltic birch unit with cherry wood facing. It has one removeable armboard, cut for the FR-64s, but others could be easily fabricated. The plinth was designed for 10-inch to 12-inch arms. The tonearm is a Fidelity Research FR-64S arm with an ORIGINAL, not reproduction B-60 VTA base. It is a copper wired arm, with minor scratches, but still very good cosmetics. Comes with both antiskate weights, proper counterweight, one FR headshell, and the old 30mm mounting base. The original DIN-rca phono cable comes with the arm. There is no original box or packaging, but I will ship the arm in a custom foam cutout lined blow-molded case. Included is a photocopy of the tonearm manual. Included is a Fidelity Research FR-7 moving coil cartridge, which still sounds great. I do not know the hours of usage of the cartridge but it has quite a bit of life left in it. This cartridge really shines at the 231.5mm P2S setup, as compared to the standard 230mm. The cartridge comes with the original stylus guard, and plastic storage box, but no paper outer box or manual. The turntable weighs about 65 pounds with pllinth and tonearm, not including the power supply. I will ship this to the Continental USA only. Shipping is included in sale price. The plinth and turntable will come in one box. I have a reproduction shipping plate that will be secured to the motor to protect it in shipping. This has to be in place or damage occurs.
