The rare but sought after Technics SP-25 Quartz Lock, Direct Drive turntable that has been cleaned and lubed, the bottom of the deck has been damped. It is mounted to a birch plywood/ MDF plinth with tiger striped 1/4 sawn oak wood veneer. The plinth has anti-EMI/RFI steps taken. it also has a ventilated bottom so the table can “breathe” the top is of durable Formica. The arm board is “lace wood”- it is beautiful and shimmers as you turn it or look at different angles. The arm is a cryo treated, very high performance Fidelity Research FR-54 which is 9.5″ long, the extra length really helps the tracking. The headshell and the included FR tonearm cable have been cryo treated as well. There are a couple of tiny scratches on the platter that you need to be very close to see. The table deck is in very good shape. The turntable comes with its original thick rubber mat. This is a professional turntable and actually came out of a closed down radio station. The table does not come with a cartridge.
