The Chassis has been damped, a custom cherry plinth hand crafted, carbon fiber top plate, arm board and carbon applied elsewhere to the chassis. It has a NOS Adcom cartridge. New Jelco 370 arm installed. It also has a ProJect carbon fiber head shell and custom tonearm cable. It uses a 3 spiked cone system for with carbon fiber pads for platform interface. It uses a brand new Origin Live DC100 motor and Advanced controller. The speed is spot on and very, very stable. It also comes with the record weight and has had the suspension set up for its use. This is a functional work of art and performs perfectly. I have undertaken a few of these projects each year and have sold them to very satisfied customers. Although this is a seller refurbished unit, it does come with either NOS or brand new items and will be enjoyed for a life time of use by the purchaser. If you ever wanted one of these, this is the time to get what may be the best Thorens TD 150 ever created. This table competes with and exceeds many tables listing at a far higher price range. It will easily get out of the way and allow you to hear what you cartridge is offering and can discern the differences among arms and cartridges a like. The Adcom HC EII is an excellent cartridge that works extremely well in this system. It is heads and shoulders above anything selling under $750 and matches many selling for much more. It is easy to drive and can be used in any MM board. It loves 47K loading and will give you a spooky midrange that seems to come straight from a mic feed but not at the expense of the top of bottom. It is a full range cartridge. Being NOS it will last you for years and until you can save up for a much more expensive cartridge, ala, $1500 or more because that might be what you need to spend to significantly beat this cartridge.
